Love Sonnet - I

I am your Venus, I am your duty
There lies no myth and there lies no fable
Tale of a battler and his fine glory
Mars, the master of heart's unstable

Be swift in justice, be fast with fury
Leave not one piece, see there is no more
You are my Mars, we are love's piety
Mars, you lord of adore, win the war

I am your Venus and thus your duty
Should we dine and eat at truelove's table?
Taste the fruit of this rare, ripened beauty
Til, love is the fill and if we are able

We'll ride this chariot, most unruly
We'll ride the ride of this love's piety

Thanks Poetic Inspiration.

I have challenged myself to write a total of ten love sonnets seeing as they are my foundation for poetry.

I love to write about love, it is so romantic and hopefully someone else will enjoy the sonnets.

peace
