Eyes Reflect

As she looks upon
The eyes that reflect
Themselves,
She witnesses the
Dark brown
Holes
to her
Core and
Center
Of a heart
That pleads
For the
Uplifting
Of humanity,
In every
City,
In every
Township,
Does she ask
More than can
Be a gift?
Does she seek
Out those things
Engrossed,
in picture
hardbacks?
If that be,
Should
She fold
Up her hand
And hush
The voice
Within?
Or, keep
Non the
Quiet,
Stifle not
The scream
For what is
Good,
For what is
Just,
Nor let up
On Hope,
Nor release
The dream,
……..
It is within
These eyes
Reflect,
She writes
The reflection

Hi Robyn,

As part of the Diaspora, I think that too. If only I can do no more than write,at the moment.

If your thinking, you are half way there. We are writers, that is our gift to the them and to the world.
